For new customers goods will be dispatched on a pro forma invoice basis. The minimum order is £200 (excluding VAT). You must then complete a credit account application form. Free UK delivery on orders over £300.  For our customers in Southern Ireland, carriage paid is £400 due to significantly increased courier charges.

Delivery costs for mainland UK are £9.99.

Non-Mainland UK (including Ireland, The Scottish Highlands and Islands) will have P&P charged at cost if the value of the order before VAT is under the carriage paid amount.

Non European accounts P&P will be charged at cost. Please contact the studio for more information.

Do the prices include VAT?

All prices are shown exclusive of VAT.

Prices are subject to change without notice and orders are invoiced at prices current at the time of dispatch.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

We pride ourselves in our high turnaround, and most orders will be dispatched within 2-3 days. If there is going to be a delay we will let you know.

Can I expect my full order to be delivered?

As we manufacture all our jewellery in Wales and we keep high stock levels, we are delighted to be able to fully dispatch most orders.

Occasionally if certain items are not available on receipt of the order, Carrie Elspeth will supply all that is available from stock and invoice accordingly.

Those items not supplied may either be placed on back order or dispatched (at our cost) as soon as they are available or if requested it will be removed from the order, for you to reorder at a later date.

What do I do if something is wrong with my order?

In the unlikely event of there being a problem with your order in any way, please contact us immediately. We will endeavour to correct the situation as soon as possible.

What do I do if something is damaged?

Every single item we make is individually checked by a well trained quality checker, however sometimes we can make a mistake. Therefore items delivered broken or faulty must be returned to us within 7 days accompanied by full details of the order date and invoice number.

Claims can only be made within 7 days of delivery. Items will be repaired if possible or replaced. Damaged items will be accepted providing the damage occurs prior to delivery, or if it is damaged due to a manufacturing fault. Items considered to have been mistreated or damaged through wear and tear cannot be replaced but can be repaired for a small charge. The issuing of replacements is solely at the discretion of Carrie Elspeth Ltd.

Is the jewellery exactly as shown online?

Photographing glass beads and crystals is very difficult and whilst every effort has been made to match the colours of our products accurately, there may be some variation. We buy all our beads in large batches and sometimes the beads will vary in colour from batch to batch. We endeavour to minimise this as much as possible but we cannot always guarantee exact colours. We also use large quantities of natural beads and as with all natural products there can be great colour variation as well as differences in shapes and finishes; however we do try to minimise this.

Whilst every effort is made to provide you with an excellent guide to our jewellery we have not been able to reproduce all the beads to their exact sizes.

What are the jewellery lengths?

Our standard lengths for necklaces range from 42 to 46cm and bracelets range from 19 to 21cm depending on the size of the beads, unless otherwise stated.

All standard length necklaces come with a branded Carrie Elspeth 5cm extension chain as standard.

What is the jewellery made of?

Earring hooks are all sterling silver.

Clamshells, loop-rings, clasps & crimps (all the types of findings used to keep the beads in place and on the ends of the wires) are silver plated. Necklace wire is nylon coated stainless steel.

Opulence limited edition collection uses entirely sterling silver findings.

We use a vast array of beads, predominantly glass; however we also use crystal, resin, acrylic, wood and metal.

How do I take care of the jewellery?

Our jewellery is carefully handmade using quality materials. However like all jewellery, it needs to be handled with care to ensure it remains in good condition. Our suggestions are:

• Please handle the wire carefully to avoid kinks.

• Please remove your jewellery before showering or bathing.

• If applying body lotions or perfume, please allow them to dry before wearing your jewellery.

• If your jewellery needs a little TLC a quick rub with a silver cloth will make the findings sparkle.

What packaging do you provide?

Free jewellery envelopes or organza bags are supplied with each necklace and bracelet, we also have free gift bags available on request. Earring display cards are also supplied with each pair of earrings. Should you prefer an envelope with your earrings instead of a display card, please mark clearly on your order form. We also have a range of boxes, gift bags and satin bags available for a small charge.
