In 1999 Carrie began creating beautiful handmade jewellery in South Wales. Now a leading supplier to independent gift shops across the UK and beyond, Carrie Elspeth Ltd now supplies close to 600 active customers with a team of 11 independent sales agents, 12 office-based employees, and around 20 home-workers who manufacture the jewellery in South Wales. We are now seeking to recruit a strong Sales Team Leader to join our expanding workforce.

The position requires a competent, confident and enthusiastic individual, able to work on their own initiative that is well organised, ambitious and able to cope with the pressure involved with meeting strict targets and motivating a sales team.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Leading our agent based & internal sales team
  • Contributing to and developing our sales strategy
  • Analysis of sales data
  • Identifying & fulfilling potential opportunities with existing customers
  • Winning new customers in existing and new markets
  • Responsibility of lead generation and conversion
  • Ownership of our CRM software
  • Contributing towards the planning and execution of sales promotions
  • Key account management

The successful candidate will:

  • Have relevant experience in leading a sales team
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent communication, sales and negotiation skills
  • Be highly numerate and have ability to draw conclusions from financial information
  • Preferably have experience in the jewellery or gift markets
  • Demonstrate effective presentation and people skills

The successful candidate will receive internal training and development on the company’s products.
