New Spring 2008 Collection
Carrie's new collection for Spring 2008was launched in January and has been flying off the
shelves with the usual enthusiasm that accompanies all her fresh ranges! This season Carrie has
created a new range of eco-themed jewellery, by using stunning recycled glass beads to make
show-stopping, rough hewn pieces. These sit side by side with an intriguing and evocative
collection of genuine semi-precious stones in five different colour ways. Carrie has also
juxtaposed the warm earthly tones and natural beauty of wooden beads with the shine of silver
cylinders, balls and cubes in an exotic range called 'Naturals'. In addition to these ranges which
celebrate the variation and beauty of natural materials, Carrie has created her usual array of
dazzling, pretty, party pieces and eye catching designs.
Carrie Elspeth: Welsh Woman Of The Year!
At a glittering black-tie ceremony in Cardiff last night, Carrie was announced as winner of the
'Small Business Owner' section of the prestigious Welsh Woman awards. The panel of judges
were particularly impressed with Carrie's continued involvement in every aspect of the business
after eight years of trading. In front of an audience of 1000 fellow finalists and guests Carrie
was delighted to accept the award. "I never expected to win such an amazing award due to the
calibre of the other finalists and previous winners. I'm overwhelmed and delighted to accept this,
which is a reflection of the dedication and the fabulous support of the team around me. For

Carrie Nominated for Welsh Woman of the Year Award
Carrie is delighted to announce that she has been chosen as a finalist for the Western Mail,
Welsh Woman of the Year awards. After an extensive application process, Carrie was chosen
as one of three finalists in the 'Small Business Owner' category of the competition. She was
interviewed by a panel of judges and must now wait till the Presentation Ball to be held in
Cardiff International Arena on Friday 23rd November 2007.
Expansion
Earlier this year Carrie Elspeth added an extra 2000 sq ft to its already bustling premises. Due
to the increasing popularity of our jewellery we needed to expand into a whole new building to
accomodate the extra growth! The new space is a welcome addition and has helped us to become
even more streamlined in our daily running of the business.
Spring Collection Launch
The Carrie Elspeth Spring collection is now on sale. Launched at Top Drawer Spring and the
NEC Spring Fair the response has been phenomenal. All our existing customers will have

Carrie Elspeth Ltd: Officially “Great”
Competing against much bigger companies, Carrie Elspeth Ltd was recognised for their
outstanding customer service by being voted 13th position of The Progressive Gifts “Greats
Awards”. This is particularly special as it's voted for by the retailers of the country and by
nomination only.
Carrie meets the Queen
In late 2004 Carrie was invited by Her Majesty The Queen to attend a reception at Buckingham
Palace. The reception was being given to mark the contribution made by the British Design
industry to the life of the nation and to recognise excellence in teaching and practice of design.
World Young Business Achiever Winner
In representing Wales at the finals of the World Young Business Achiever 2004, Carrie won
the award for excellence in ‘Business Innovation and Creativity.’ The awards are committed to
inspiring young men and women to become and enjoy being entrepreneurs. The World Young
Business Achiever award was in its 10th year and the award was presented to Carrie at a gala
event in Sofia by the Prime minister of Bulgaria.
Western Mail Young Business achiever of the year
During May 2004 Carrie won the title of the ‘Western Mail Young Business achiever of the
year award’ for Wales. The award was presented to Carrie at a star studded awards ceremony
held at Cardiff International Arena. Carrie became the first woman ever to win this accolade.
Display Competition – Jam
Carrie Elspeth recently launched an innovative new display pack incorporating a simple
point-of-sale cube, striking posters and packaging which are available to all customers free of charge.
To put their retailers to the test, Carrie Elspeth set up a Display Competition giving a prize for
the best presentation. They were inundated with examples giving them the difficult task of
selecting a winner. But after much discussion and deliberation they were pleased to announce
that the winner was Jam in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. Jam was awarded the prize for their
clever use of colour and the classic and simple way in which they presented their Carrie Elspeth
jewellery.
Carrie Elspeth also ran a free prize draw for all customers that sent in a photograph of their
display. Mungos in Wooton-under-Edge in Gloucestershire were delighted to be the successful
winners.
